We always wonder - how well does someone know the person they plan to marry?? Some engagements are relatively short, while other engagements are much longer. Some people have known each other since childhood - others met in college or elsewhere, later on. Does the bride really know her groom?
Find out!!
This game requires some prep work. Come up with a list of about 20 questions and get the answers from the groom before the bridal shower. There are lots of questions you can ask, but please try to keep it friendly and fun. Some ideas would be "What is his favorite song?", "What is his favorite color?", "Where was he born?", "Who did he have his first kiss with?", "How many serious relationships did he have before they got together?", "What was the name of his first pet?", "What is his favorite video game?", "Who is his favorite author?", and so on. Keep it light, friendly, and warm-hearted - you want your bride to have a good night!
Next, have a copy of all the questions and give all of the guests a piece of paper and pen. Let each guest take a look at the questions and write down how many they think she will get right. You can even have them mark which ones they think she will get right.
After everyone has had a chance to write down their guesses, sit the bride down in front of the guests and ask her each question in turn, telling her when they are right and wrong and what the right answers are. At the end, figure out who had the most guesses correct - they can win a prize! You can also have the two guests with the worst guesses take a shot as punishment.
